The Cosmograph Daytona was born in 1963. This chronograph model is an overwhelmingly popular model as the pinnacle of the Rolex sports collection.
The series was completely renewed in 2023, marking the 60th anniversary of Daytona's birth. The case, dial, clasp, etc. have been updated while maintaining the traditional design code. The movement is also equipped with a new caliber with improved movement. The new movement Cal.4131 has a design that has been maintained with the basic design being reduced and the number of parts has been increased.
Rolex's unique sporty strap, the Oysterflex Bracelet, is covered with elastomer (artificial rubber), and provides a supple fit and durability comparable to a metal bracelet. The inside also features a cushion system that enhances fit.
